TCC Technology (TCCT) and Equinix (Equinix) yesterday signed a working agreement whereby both parties will work jointly in expanding their market share in Asia Pacific. A broader choice of location for infrastructure hosting will be offered to new customers via international cooperation. Each company will market the other's data centre services in their countries of operation.
TCCT is Thailand's largest enterprise-class data centre service provider focusing on enterprise application hosting services, co-location services, managed services, and disaster recovery centre services. The company is Thailand's market leader in SAP hosting. TCCT currently has two data centres with a combined hosting area of 1,000 square metres. TCCT's data centres will be listed under the Equinix umbrella.
With this agreement, TCCT benefits from the Equinix client base who will find it more convenient to manage their expansion into Thailand. Equinix presently serves more than 950 customers worldwide including more than 200 different networks and content provider customers, including General Electric, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.
"Looking ahead, we foresee a strong demand for disaster recovery services at our Bangna data centre. This anticipated demand, coupled with the cooperation with partners, such as the US-based Equinix, will position TCCT to achieve significant growth in the managed services market. Through Equinix's solid reputation, TCCT will gain further brand recognition and attract international clientele," said Lance G Stanford, president of TCC Technology.
