Data center services provider T.C.C. Technology (TCCT) expects an increased demand of at least 15% this year for hosted services from multinational companies at its second mission-critical hosting facility on Bangna-Trad Road. TCCT believes this demand will stem from increased foreign interest in hosted services, especially after the opening of Bangkok's new Suvarnabhumi Airport, expected in July this year.
Mr. Kosit Suksingha, General Manager of T.C.C. Technology, expressed there was a need from overseas companies for mission-critical hosting facilities located close to the Bangkok's new airport. Dion Wiggins, research director for Gartner, also emphasized this point during a recent Bangkok seminar on "The Global Future of Thai Business." In this seminar, Mr. Wiggins stated that foreign companies assessing Asia-Pacific regional hosting hubs would "rather have data in Thailand, near the airport...but they don't know who to talk to."
"Not only does our Bangna Data Center meet global standards, but its strategic location of only 10 KM. from the new Suvarnabhumi Airport will be a key factor for our overseas clients who travel to Bangkok and require frequent site visits," stated Khun Kosit Suksingha.
T.C.C Technology's Bangna Data Center offers over 600 sq.m. for mission-critical application and server hosting. The network neutrality of the facility enables the comprehensive IT flexibility required of multinational companies looking for outsourced hosting. The TCCT Bangna Data Center is listed under the Equinix global network of best-of-breed data centers in the major cities of the world.
