Open Data Center Alliance Grows Strong with Leading IT Company Members Worldwide, Including Many from Asia; Alliance to Develop a Unified Vision for Long Term Data Center Requirements.
TCC Technology today announced that it has joined the Open Data Center Alliance as an Adopter member, helping the Alliance to develop a unified vision for long term data center and cloud infrastructure requirements. The Alliance aims to create enormous benefits to end users, helping IT members improve and develop cloud services and infrastructure resulting in advantages in terms of businesses, productivities, and profitability for customers and end-users. As a first step towards this, the Alliance plans to release an Open Data Center Usage Model Roadmap to define usage model requirements and reference architectures to resolve key IT challenges and fulfill cloud infrastructure needs into the future.
Since its launch in October 2010, the Open Data Center Alliance has drawn a lot of attention worldwide. To reinforce the cooperation among members, the Alliance set up the Technical Coordination Committee and in November 2010, this committee produced the Alliance’s first live webcast to enable members to acknowledge and share useful information about the roadmap review. More live webcasts by the Technical Coordination Committee are planned to be launched in the future. In December 2010, the Technical Coordination Committee held its first face-to-face meeting to continue roadmap planning and other Workgroup activities. TCC Technology, as one of the Adopter members, fully cooperates with the Alliance in support of the Usage Model Roadmap development.
As a member of the Open Data Center Alliance, TCC Technology has positioned itself to better provide services and infrastructure to customers and end-users with utmost capacity, performance and quality.
