HKT (SEHK: 6823) – HONG KONG / BANGKOK, THAILAND, January 30, 2013 – PCCW Global, an operating division of HKT, Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications service provider, has signed a co-location agreement with T.C.C. Technology Co., Ltd. (TCCT), Thailand's leading carrier-neutral data center, to install a new Point-of-Presence (PoP) at TCCT’s data center in Bangkok.

The new PoP further extends PCCW Global’s coverage in Thailand. It also increases MPLS capacity to support the rapidly growing traffic patterns seen in the Southeast Asian market.

In conjunction with installing the new PoP, additional diverse routing has been established in Thailand, thereby further strengthening the resilience of PCCW Global's already robust network.
