TCCT and NTT Communications Sign a Commercial Agreement to Collaborate for the Lowest Latency Fiber Highway Connecting Asia to North America

January 23, 2013, Hawaii - TCC Technology (TCCT), Thailand and region’s leading IT Infrastructure Provider signs a collaboration agreement with NTT Communications, the international communications and ICT solution provider and wholly owned subsidiary of NTT. This collaboration between NTT Communications, with and TCCT, with fiber connective capacity from South-East Asia to Asia Pacific, and North America will create the most seamless high efficiency, lowest latency network connecting from south-east Asia and Asia Pacific (Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam- Hong Kong) to Tokyo, Japan and then to Chicago, US. Latency for this new route from Bangkok to Tokyo is less than 81msec*, from Bangkok to Chicago is less than 209msec*. This means each customer from Japan and US can have an ultra low latency transmission. This new route will help support finance/banking and other business sectors that need a shortest response time from US to Bangkok through Tokyo and vice versa. *Contains estimated figures by internal investigation.

Mr. Michiyuki Kamada, Director, Carrier Relations of NTT Communications Corporation said, “NTT Communications and TCCT’s fiber highway commercial collaboration provides the lowest latency fiber highway connection from Asia to North America. With subsidiaries and offices in 87 cities in 31 countries/regions around the world, we know customer demand and therefore provide the best connectivity across the continents to them”.

Mr. Suwat Punnachaiya, Assistant Managing Director of TCC Technology said, for users in particular enterprises and financial institutions, they demand the fastest connectivity across the borders and continents for their customers because every minute is important for business transactions. NTT Communications and TCCT as two leading fiber connectivity providers in Asia Pacific and south-east Asia respectively are going to be ready to provide the most seamless, lowest latency, and fastest fiber connectivity for customers in South-East Asia, Asia Pacific, and North America.”
