
October 22, 2013, Bangkok, Thailand – TCC Technology (TCCT) is now becoming the largest data center provider in Thailand after receiving the green light from Board of Investment Thailand (BOI) to expand its carrier neutral data centers in Thailand with the approximate footprint of 13,500 square meters. (145,300 square feet). Therefore the existing data center space combined with the future expanded data center of TCCT will become 18,795 square meters or 202,300 square feet.
Currently TCCT (a subsidiary of Berli Jucker PCL. and TCC Holding Co., Ltd. operates 3 strategic data centers with total footprint of 5,295 square meters (57,000 square feet). Existing data centers with a variety of key advantages which vary according to location, target customer, and purpose, are:
1) Data Center at Empire Tower (ETDC)– Located at Sathorn road (CBD area) on TCC Group’s own building, Empire Tower, ETDC is convenient in terms of transportation (skytrain and BRT), surrounded by over 10,000 enterprises in the area.
2) Data Center at Bangna (BNDC) – Only 10-minute drive from international airport, BNDC1-6 in dedicated building for data center and Business Continuity Center or BCC (data center from 1st to 6th floor in TCIF Complex which is wholly owned by TCC Group).
