February 22, 2015, Bangkok, Thailand – Recent launch of BKNIX (Bangkok Neutral Internet Exchange) using world class technology will create “World of Convergence”; a world that is interconnected on economy, education, society, knowledge, people, young startups, businesses, etc. by Internet. Founded by BKNIX, this new Exchange Point clusters the largest group ISPs both domestic and international within Great Mekong region.

Whether small or large ISPs, neutrality will lead to an equal accessibility to a more efficient infrastructure.”

In addition to the newly established Internet Exchange Point which has a pool of leading ISPs, BKNIX brings the most innovative and high performance connectivity. To be comparable to other countries in Europe, North America, or even Asia Pacific, BKNIX has worked and aimed at shifting technology from existing “Layer 3 (L3) Exchange” to “Layer 2” (L2) of which the Internet will be faster and better in terms of redundancy to the public.
