Environmental (E) Project: Smart Air

The Smart Air project exemplifies TCCtech’s environmental commitment under the EcoTech Empowerment concept. The initiative applies technology and data to systematically manage building operations, improving energy and resource efficiency without compromising occupant comfort. Smart Air focuses on controlling VRV air-conditioning systems through an online platform, using real operational data as the foundation for energy analysis and management. The project also establishes a foundation for future automation and AI-driven control, representing a key step toward sustainable smart building development.

The solution incorporates Occupancy-based Control and People Counting, an intelligent energy management system that leverages real-time occupancy data from RTSP cameras combined with AI. The Smart Air Decision Engine analyzes occupancy levels and automatically adjusts air-conditioning operations, turning systems on or off or optimizing temperature settings based on actual usage. This approach reduces energy consumption in unoccupied or low-usage areas while maintaining thermal comfort within optimal temperature ranges. As a result, Smart Air minimizes energy waste, enhances building management efficiency, and provides a strong foundation for long-term sustainability and smart building initiatives.
